"Will you teach your children what we have taught our children? That the earth is our mother? What befalls the earth befalls all the sons of the earth."

"This we know: the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself. One thing we know - our God is also your God. The earth is precious to Him and to harm the earth is to heap contempt on its Creator."

We love to see new people experience the great thrills and the ultimate fun of racehorse ownership, and we are happy to help you get started with an eye-opening, no-holds-barred look at what you are likely to encounter in this business. Our seminars won't be sugar coated, and you won't leave with the impression that owning Thoroughbreds is an easy way to make money.

In fact, one of the oldest (and most accurate!) jokes on the track is this...

"How do you become a millionaire owning racehorses?
Start with 3 million!"

The truth is, you stand a better chance of making money (or at least not losing so much!) and having a great time if your eyes are opened to the potential pitfalls before you buy your first horse.

Our seminars include not only presentations by speakers from all facets of the industry - lawyers, accountants, owners, trainers and veterinarians - but also some hands-on time with the horses.

We invite participants to get up close and personal with the horses on the farm. Our hands-on sessions will allow participants to get comfortable around 1000+ lb. animals, and learn the basics of what farm and track life will be like for your horses. We hope that you will be compelled to get to know your own horses intimately, and will care deeply what happens to them both on the track and post-racing.

It's a fact - horses can't race forever, and the treatment they receive on the track may be the difference between a useful, happy second career and a horse that will forever be nothing but a financial liability, or worse, a case for euthanasia.
